No two students are alike. The Sylvan Skills Assessment is designed to pinpoint your child’s strengths and weaknesses in reading, writing, math, and study skills. This discovery process provides us with the foundation to create a personalized learning program unique to your child.
Personalized lesson plans pave the way to success. Some students need to develop techniques to make them stronger readers or to improve their English. Others benefit from remedial lessons that give them the foundation they need to succeed in reading, writing and math.
No matter what skill or subject challenges a student, our tutors start working with each student at his/her level until the skill is mastered – it’s what we call “mastery learning.” Every step of the way, we provide Progress Reports so you know how your child is doing.
